Asus planned to release a highly-affordable laptop named “EEE PC 701“. This laptop will run windows or linux and stripped-down capabilities. EEE PC 701 are Intel based chipset with 7 inch display and 512MB Memory. There’s also available Webcam Module and upto 16 GB Flash Drive.
This laptop is priced about $200. “EEE” means “Easy to learn, Easy to play, Easy to work.”

Dell, a big company which still listening to the customers. From IdeaStorm, the big public brainstorming, Dell receives request from its customers to ship preInstalled Linux within Dell machines. And it’s about 70% of participant requested.

For you notebook users, creative has coming to you. You will be pleased with the ashtoning sound from Soundblaster X-Fi for notebook, with interface ExpressCard. The card is basically from The Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook card and provides THX certified 24-bit Advanced HD audio and 7.1 surround sound.
Creative still doesn’t announced the price, but expected in next few week.

Laptop Magazine has reviewed Samsung’s Q1P SSD ultra-mobile PC. Featuring flash memory based solid-state drive, so consuming less power than HDDs. The minor is the battery life is less then two hours, but the plus is highly portable package and very fast appliation loading.

Apple is going to introduce 15.4 inch MacBooks in the second quarter of 2007 according Digitimes. The new 15.4 is to fill the gap between 13.3-inch and 17-inch MacBooks Pros, and expected to boost shipments of Apple Intel powered MacBook.
Price range are US$1,999 and US$2,799 for 15.4-inch MacBooks Pros.
