Thousand of hotmail account password leaked online, says neowin.net. If you are an hotmail account with first letter A to B, then you should change your password NOW!

According to neowin, those account are European hotmail account. And the password listed in pastebin.com (a free service for developer exchange their codes). But now the entries has been deleted by pastebin.

No Twitter and Facebook for NBA Players?

National Basketball Association (NBA) to apply the new rules in overseeing the use of social networking sites for his athletes. The new rules prohibit athletes access to Facebook and Twitter during a game.

NBA gave the memo to the 30 team basketball. The memo contains the rules about using Facebook and Twitter. These rules apply to players, referees and members of other games.

“During the game, the athletes and game operations personnel are prohibited to use mobile phones, PDAs, or other electronic communication devices and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter”, so this piece of content of the memo.

These rules apply 45 minutes before game time and apply after the press conference after the match.

The first time in the world, the name of a street is taken from one Twitter account. This could be you met in Palestine, precisely at the refugee camp in the West Bank.

I definitely must switch to Samsung TV’s. Because Samsung TV’s now can play DivX movies. Just plugin your USB or through network, you can watch your DivX movies on Samsung Televisions. How this can happen? Well, recently Samsung and DivX had an agreement so from now on all Samsung TV’s can play DivX movies.

Hm, after read that the new Windows will be named Windows 7, I remembered something. Aha! Linux. Yap, most of major distro named their distro with Numbers. Like Debian 4, Opensuse 11.0, Redhat 3.0, Centos 5.2. Ya,ya,ya, not all distros named with numbers. PCLinuxOS 2008 for instance. But hey, that’s a number too! Is it microsoft want to simplified or there’s something hidden agenda? But hey, the screen sever looks good with that seven.

Wikimedia moving to Ubuntu for their servers

Ubuntu are getting popular, there are many company use ubuntu as their OS for their servers. Wikimedia also did it for their servers. They said “We are having trouble to maintain multitude of OS with only five technical staff around the world. By using the same OS (ubuntu), they making their maintenance much simpler”.

There are 400 server to migrate, in a separate Data center around the globe. The migration begin in 2006 and almost done in a couple months. And they happy for the results. They said “Everything is a million times easier.”
